The homeowners came to us, wanting to freshen up their space but also wanting to embrace the character of their home - the large windows, the open floor plan, and the fireplace at the center of it all that admittedly needed updating. Our design team looked over their photos and then went for an in-person look to get a feel for the space, hear out the homeowners in more detail, and go over the specifics with what they would recommend and how the process would look.
1. Warm and Inviting Flooring:
The homeowners wanted new flooring so they chose to have wide-plank oak hardwood flooring installed throughout, which adds warmth and a timeless aesthetic to the room.
The natural wood tones bring out the bright, airy feel of the room and help anchor the lighter, more neutral elements. This really adds to the coziness appeal of the entire area.
